official site: http://www.shinigaminoseido.jp/This is known as "Accuracy of Death" on local screens - which in turn cause a number of people to mistake it for some horror flick casting Takeshi as a psycho killer. Jerrie who has booked the movie tickets as a belated birthday treat, was puzzled as to why I would "want to watch some stupid horror movie about death."
I convinced him this movie is gonna be enjoyable and a far cry from what he is anticipating, whether or not one admires Takeshi's silky mane or his chiselled looks.
The story begins with the Shinigami-God of Death, Chiba who roams the living world with his Sidekick / boss in the form of a black dog. His assignments basically requires him to judge the mortals on their worth in the living world to decide whether "death sentence" should be "proceeded" or "passed on".
Sounds grim, but how frightening can the movie be when Mr Grim Reaper is in the form of Takeshi complete with a doggie for a companion?
Chiba learns more about humanity, love and the value of life through the eyes of his "subjects", namely a depressed OL, a yakuza boss and an elderly hair dresser.
Takeshi is only one of the many reasons why I have been anticipating this movie since Jan 08. (though pple like Jerrie, PH and Hazel will fall over themselves to disagree)

Doing my Great Expectations essay during Annual Camp 2008
“"Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same."
How True.
I have came across this quote numerous times...... circulated emails, forums and even in dedications on the radio.
With Class FM 95 playing in the background, it makes my night in school more bearable as I furiously racked my brains for my next essay due next Mon.
When I heard the above, it somehow stopped me in my track and make me ponder on the people who have came into my life these few years.
Indeed, a few of them has left footprints and shown me the beauty of looking through their eyes last year.

I'll need to get my head examine if ...................
I sit though any more of that weirdo's tutorials.
I'm dreading Tuesdays Tutorials because I will need to sit through a session of "counselling" & "self-tests" adminstered by a supposedly experienced psychologist who had taken it upon herself to become a part time tutor so that she could spread her knowledge to poor souls like me.
After two hours of listening to a room of strangers shared about their heroes, weakness and strengths and being made to do the same, I felt like one of those cigarette addicts who were being made to attend a group help session so that they can get a new lease of life after being enlightened by strangers.
I left the room before I lose control & start babbling rude things to myself. After all, when it was my turn to share, I told her that one of my strengths was my sense of humour, which she looks on disbelievingly. (I figured out the bored and irritated look on my face didn't do justice to the sense of humour that I claim to possess.)
On the 2nd tutorial, when I realised that ironing shirts is more enlightening and bearable than sitting through the session, I packed my stuff during break and sneaked off to Naz's class on the 4th level. Shooting her tutor an apologetic look for coming late, I sat down and was relieved that they didn't take attendance for the group. ¶ 10:29 PM 0 Comments

I was tasked with the honour of presiding over the handover ceremony by Samsoon (The Pig) to Joshie (The Rat).
I think Joshie is so cute that he can beat that pink nose critter in Ratatouille for the role of the gourmet chef in the sequel.
