Finally, they were extracted on a Warm Thursday afternoon
Yes, it finally happened. I had my first experience of tooth extraction.
My mum called from her workplace in the afternoon.
Before I went in, Hazel Seng called to give me a boost of courage. I told her I would marry her if I'm male.
I carried my new pouch from Angie Ang for good luck.
PH pat me on the shoulder to show support ( and afterwards showed her glee that I wasn't able to talk for a few days.)
Ris msg me to wish me the best. WY msn me online to show support.
The rest of my cubicle mates and colleagues wished me luck on Wed. (Kudos to all who survived my whining, u will have peace for one week, since I will be on MC.)
(Papillion didn't say anything to me, not even a word of comfort. But it's alright, I wasn't kind to the goon either when he met with a slight mishap yrs ago. (a silly one at that))
I gather if I were to deliver a baby right now, these kind pple will probably come with banners to support me.
"We support the Earthling! Push Push!" and Papillion would look on with a dead-pan face.
Yeah, I'm a timid earthling. I once made up a long list of items that scare the hell outta me. The list is even longer than the list I make for "The items I covet but can't afford at the moment." or "The people I dun like and wanna throw in the bin" or " List of countries I wanna visit" or " The things I would do to people who irritate me"
From my view on the dentist chair, it was like watching a live Horror movie, with my dentist and his 2 assistants prancing around me, with their tools, doing their best to get the stubborn tooth out.
"It was a difficult one, it's rather far in." My dentist justified his violent jerk of my head. I gave him a mournful look, and blinked in response to show how traumatising the experience was. ( I was injected about 5-6 times to numb the areas well.)
He showed me the fellows who had been causing me the agony for weeks. There they were, lying there, bloody and ugly.
On my way back, PH called to show her concern (and to snigger)
"This is funny! For once, U can't talk and have to listen while I talked." She crackled
My attempt to scold came out in a string of whiny noises and drew stares from pple around me.
I decided to send her an A4 size photo of Bobo as revenge.
I have to go on Soft diet for a week, that means porridge and oats and bean curd.........sigh! ¶ 10:41 PM 2 Comments
