First Day of Chinese New Year-Sentosa Revisited
Happy Lunar New Year!!!!
I was tasked with the honour of presiding over the handover ceremony by Samsoon (The Pig) to Joshie (The Rat).
I think Joshie is so cute that he can beat that pink nose critter in Ratatouille for the role of the gourmet chef in the sequel.
enough said, time for ZZZZ.........
The eve of Chinese New Year's eve -
Sitting at my workstation, in my new tee in a soft shade of yellow, munching on my strawberry yoghurt chiffon cake paired with oats in milk, I am eagerly awaiting the commence of the celebrations so that it will end on time for me to hit the gym.
The best thing that happens in these 6 years! Early dismissal at 9.30am.....give me more of that for the year!
Can't wait to hit the gym after 3pm
I'm going to attend to some really boring business for the next 45 mins before zooming off to the gym. Sigh!!!!!
Getting ready for a new term, new modules and hopefully a semester of laughter and interesting insights
I attended my first Psychology lecture on a wet Tuesday evening. I swear I haven't laugh so much in the last few weeks since work started on the 3rd of Jan. And she wasn't even't deliberately trying to make us laugh....it was the perspective from which she sees her situation at that time.
"At first, I only laughed at myself. Then I noticed that life itself is amusing. I've been in a generally good mood ever since."- Marilyn vos Savant
Putting aside all theories about the world of Psychology that was rattled on during the lecture, I have learnt the importance of being able to laugh.....at my own failings....
"Humor is one of the most serious tools we have for dealing with impossible situations."- Erica Jong
How true.
I like to look at the world from different perspectives and capture her at her best. Hence the blog address -the many faces of life
