Camp Report ...........Tiring and challenging but fun
This was one of the best camps I ever had since the one I attended in my first year.
It was challenging in the sense that I had to make sure that everything was in place for the camp to be conducted well. It was challenging as I had to play a game on the damp grass with the kids. It was challenging to force myself to stay awake to enjoy the late night games and supper.
I never knew Monopoly to be that enjoyable. I have always hated those games which involves money or numbers.
The game aroused my suspicions about the fish roe I used to eat when I was a child. Myth has it that those who ate the roe are unable to do well in Maths.
When I found myself trying to count the money to pay the gleeful SL, and S.Yong has to help me with the counting, it confirmed my suspiscion of the "curse".
We played late into the night and decided we were all hungry with talk about fried fish roe and all.
The 2 guys kindly agreed to drive out to buy oyster mee sua and the famous soyabean milk from Geylang.
I took a nap on the couch and was woken up by my HP ringing. The Food has arrived!!!!
Yummy! It's been a year since I ate supper at 4 am in the morning.
We decided to get some rest to prepare for the activities tmr.
A delicious ending to the night!
